Let's Just Get to the Point:
Retinol is one of those ingredients you just need in your skin care regimen, but finding the right one can take some trial and error. No B.S. Retinol Night Cream literally cuts the B.S. out of the equation so you get total resurfacing and big-time results with none of the bad stuff.
Key Ingredients: Retinol, aloe vera, lavender oil, cucumber, green tea, vitamin E
If You Want to Know More:
You probably already know that retinol is the gold standard of anti-aging products, but you don't always find the ingredient in eco-friendly, cruelty-free products made without any "bad stuff" (i.e. parabens, sulfates, phthalates or unnecessary fillers that can irritate skin). This night cream lets you tackle fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, rough texture and large pores without sacrificing quality, and it works on all skin types.
The texture is ideal for a night cream because it's light enough that it easily absorbs into skin and isn't greasy, but rich enough that it hydrates and nourishes skin overnight. I like the herbal scent, which is predominantly lavender, because it's calming, and lavender is known for its ability to promote a better night's sleep.
Apply it after removing your makeup, washing your face and toning (if your skin is on the oilier side). I used it every other night for two weeks and my skin never became irritated, red or stripped to the point that it was dry and flaky, which can happen with some retinol products (I assume this is thanks to the soothing aloe vera and cucumber in the formula). The brand says it can be used every night, but if you're new to retinol or have experienced irritation from it in the past, start slowly—two or three times a week—and work your way up. Also, don't forget to apply it on your neck too!
In no time, your skin will be smoother, softer and glowier, and you won't ever feel guilty about the ingredients you're putting on your skin. The only thing I'm left wanting is more...can they make a bigger size?
