Skin Goals: Smoothing + Plumping
Skincare in your 30s was easy, right? Luckily, your 40s only require a minor tweak of your existing skincare routine.
Since we want to stimulate collagen production at this age, we’re adding a must-have product to help maintain elasticity. Hello, firm skin! Instead of sifting through endless pricey products, talk to your derm first; they’ll know where to start.
In the meantime, no b.s. has got you covered with the perfect skincare tips to give you a boost.
Biggest Skin Sin
Many women tend to go overboard with products and procedures to overcompensate. It’s expensive and might end up doing more harm than good.
Talk to your dermatologist before you cause possible damage or irritation to your skin.
Reach For: Retinol + Serums
Aside from daily use of SPF, a retinol cream at night and a serum during the day will make a huge difference to your skin. Even if you spent your 30's doing the bare minimum, it's never too late to take your skin to the next level!
Retinol helps minimize your fine lines (although we honestly adore when women rock their well-deserved creases) while vitamin C is a natural antioxidant that helps brighten (not lighten) your skin. This combo offers the opportunity for a glow that won't quit!
Hyaluronic Acid helps your skin retain water to increase moisture and reduce the appearance of those fine lines and sagging skin you scrutinize so much in the mirror.
No B.S. Product of Choice
There’s a reason our Fresh + Smooth Duo is one of our top sellers.
Both the Retinol Night Cream and Vitamin C + E Serum do an amazing job at tackling the most common skin concerns without the hassle of an over-complicated routine.
For fine lines, dark spots, acne scars, or dull skin, these skin-loving products have your back.
Bring back the plump using our Pure Hyaluronic Serum. This concentrated serum instantly quenches your dry skin for juicy and bouncy skin that will make you feel your best.
Step 1: Cleanser.
Whether you wash your face 2x a day or once, make it a gentle cleanser that breaks down makeup and debris from every pore. Get the Gentle Foaming Cleanser.
Step 2: Toner.
Refresh and cleanse with a toner that purges lingering dirt from every pore. Our Purifying Toner contains all the right actives to get the job done.
Step 3: Serums.
To brighten up dark spots and brighten your complexion, take advantage of the antioxidant-filled Vitamin C + E Serum. 2-3 drops will do your skin right.
For a splash of hydration, the oil-free Pure Hyaluronic Serum is for you. You can pair these two serums together with ease to get the best of both worlds, regardless of your skin type.
Step 4: Eye Cream
It is not enough to only have caffeine in your morning coffee. You need it in your eye cream, too! Our Caffeine Eye Cream is perfect for reducing puffiness and those pesky dark circles under your eyes.
Step 5: Moisturizer
Make sure you get all the hydration you need with the Day + Night Hyaluronic Cream or the Antioxidant CoQ10 Cream. Dab a pea-sized amount (you really don’t need too much) and spread it on evenly. Dry skin types will soak it right up. You can use both moisturizers if you have dry skin, but it is not necessary!
Step 6: Protection.
Moisturize and protect all day for the healthiest skin! Our Moisturizer with SPF 20 is a true multitasker that gets you the protection you need all day long with the right amount of hydration and no greasiness.
Repeat steps 1-4. Apply the Retinol Night Cream on clean skin and let it absorb. It’s best to start your night routine about an hour before going to bed so that all of that goodness stays on your skin, not your pillow.
Note: If you're using the Retinol Night Cream, it's best to skip the Vitamin C + E serum at night so that you don't have two treatments competing for absorption.
Finish up with our Antioxidant CoQ10 Cream. It helps plump and softens the look of fine lines and dullness so your skin looks bouncy and juiced up in the morning.
Who doesn’t love some me time? Indulge your pores in a purifying hiatus with our Charcoal Peel Off Mask. Painlessly peel away the stress and any lingering nasties that can clog up pores.
