What do you get when you mix two superstar antioxidants?
Your skin’s new BFF—our VITAMIN C + E SERUM.
Together, these powerful vitamins reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots, support collagen production, prevent premature aging and reduce inflammation.
Plus, we’ve added hyaluronic acid for some serious hydration.
Here’s the scoop.
1. NOT ALL C IS CREATED EQUAL
Putting vitamin C in skincare is a no-brainer, but figuring out the most effective delivery method is a whole other story.
Our VITAMIN C + E SERUM is made using sodium ascorbyl phosphate, this version is gentler and more stable than other types of vitamin C.
Since it’s less likely to oxidize, it will last longer while still delivering plenty of good-for-skin benefits like fighting free radicals, boosting collagen production, evening out skin tone and providing antimicrobial benefits to even the most sensitive skin types.
You only need one or two drops—talk about powerful.
2. TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
Vitamin C may be center stage, but this serum’s strength comes from the way its ingredients work together. Like Carrie and Miranda, vitamin C and E stabilize each other.
On its own, vitamin E helps combat sun damage, diminish the appearance of scars and prevent wrinkles over time. When combined with vitamin C, it acts as a natural form of sun protection up to 4 x more effective against free radicals than if you used them separately.
Research shows that you can boost this power couple even more with ferulic acid, this increases your skin's natural defenses against sun damage and almost doubles the UV-protection, tackling any stray UV rays that get past sunscreen.
As if all this anti-aging action wasn’t enough, we added hyaluronic acid. This potent ingredient is naturally found in our skin but depletes overtime. It holds 10x its weight in water, drawing moisture from the environment into your skin cells to leave it looking plumper and refreshed. Your skin drinks it all up... no one will ever call you thirsty again
3. KEEPING IT LIGHT
Vitamin C serums have a bad rap for being unstable and turning opaque or a light shade of brown over time, but not sodium ascorbyl phosphate.
This type of vitamin C is considered one of its more stable forms, it is more resistant to light and oxygen exposure and water-stable, meaning it won’t oxidize as easily.
When vitamin C oxidizes, it can actually increase free radical formation. So your hard-earned money spent trying to improve your skin can actually do the opposite! Nobody wants that... so sodium ascorbyl phosphate with stabilizing vitamin E and ferulic acid for the win!
4. HANDLE WITH CARE
Vitamin C is a badass when it fights for your skin but the product itself needs a little TLC, keep in an opaque container in a fresh, shaded spot.
If you’re looking to add a little more chill to your life, a perfect place for our serum is the fridge. The cooling effect of the refrigerated serum is also totally clutch for that post-hangover puffy face.
